The location is pretty great, just a short 10-minute walk from the subway, making it super easy to get around. The staff were friendly and check-in was a breeze. I appreciated the cozy lounge area too, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.
The room was really cramped and didn’t even have windows! It felt damp and smelly, which was a major turnoff. Plus, the shared bathrooms were often busy and equipped poorly. We even had to deal with some garbage left behind from previous guests. Totally not what I expected for a romantic getaway!

I stayed for three nights during my exploration of the city's vibrant culture and nightlife. The clever bed layout maximized space, allowing me a cozy top bunk with plenty of room since the double bed was often vacant. The location was superb, just a short walk to the MRT and the energetic shopping district. The friendly staff, clean bathrooms, and ample lounge space made it easy to unwind after long days of sightseeing. Plus, the free luggage storage was a nice touch!
I recommend this hotel.

my room with a view, featuring 12 beds, offered ample space for relaxation and camaraderie, making it perfect for group trips.
I found the shower pressure to be slightly lower than expected, which was a minor inconvenience. Nonetheless, it didn't significantly detract from my overall experience at the accommodation.

The location of the hostel near Taipei Main Station is incredibly convenient and allows for easy access to various transportation options. It's like having your own personal chauffeur, but without the high price tag!
Noisy alarm lock system.

Despite the room feeling a bit crowded, it provided a cozy atmosphere. I also loved the good vibes of the hostel and the addition of a makeup corner, a nice touch. The guestrooms at Fun Inn Taipei Hostel are cozy and comfortable, providing all the amenities needed for a good night's sleep. As a vegetarian/vegan guest, I appreciated the private bathroom equipped with a shower.
Personally, I wasn't a fan of the shared kitchen and lounge at the hostel. It's just my subjective opinion, as I prefer more privacy and prefer cooking my meals in a separate space.

Comfortable beds and a quiet atmosphere made for a restful stay.
The bathroom facilities were quite small and cramped, with limited legroom on the toilet and inadequate ventilation. there was a lack of basic amenities such as trash bins and soap.

As business travelers, we were impressed with the clean and well-maintained facilities. the double bed in our dormitory provided a comfortable and private sleeping space, thanks to the curtains. the individual lockers ensured the safety of our belongings. Having our own toilet and shower in the room was convenient. the location was excellent, with easy access to public transportation and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Plus, the dumplings at the restaurant underneath were some of the best we've ever tasted!
Felt very comfortable, no complaints whatsoever.
